Why did the Zoo switch to an online system in 2013?

  1. The majority of our customers have requested this service in recent years.
  2. An online system significantly increases the ability to fairly deliver the “first come, first served” principle.
  3. It significantly reduces the number of people who have to stand in a line up on the first day of registration for several hours each year.
  4. It allows customers to register from a location that is convenient for them.
  5. It allows customers to register at a time of day that is convenient for them.

Can the online registration system accommodate several people registering at the same time?

Yes! The company we have hired to develop and maintain the online system has experience with online registrations for several other day camps across Canada and is accustomed to accepting upwards to 16,000 transactions per day.
